IMAGINE
It all begins with an idea or imaginative thought. Maybe your favorite art piece is “Starry Night” by van Gogh and you want to incorporate this idea into your event. Our team takes your idea and creates a customized and comprehensive design to your specifications.
INSPIre
Trained in “the AVA approach”, our team embraces the art of planning and design. After an initial consultation, our designers will present you with an inspired theme, textile choices, and color schemes that reflect your taste and aesthetic. We believe simplicity and sophistication are two sides of the same coin.
IMPLEMENT
Our team will develop a personalized plan tailored to your needs. We’ll provide floor plans, mood-boards and product ideas that will bring your event to life reflecting how you want to celebrate. Upon your approval, we implement your ideas into various aspects of your event. However we believe in organic planning and design, we welcome inspirational changes.

Meet AMY & SHOBIN
New York natives, Shobin & Amy Varghese are full-service event planners and the founders of AVA Event Management. This dynamic duo are managing partners as well as life partners who have successfully grown their event based brand since 2015. They started their company after planning their own wedding, and realizing how incredibly overwhelming, and time consuming the planning process was. Their determination to never allow another individual to share the same strain led to the formation of their company. Through aspiration, ingenuity and perseverance, Amy and Shobin now have offices and teams in New York and Atlanta due to the demand of services, and are planning on opening up more locations in the future.
Amy received her certification in event planning from the QC Event School and is a member of the International Event and Wedding Planning Professional & the International Live Events Association. Shobin has comprehensive training and knowledge in creative and graphic design and was an event decorator for several years before modifying his focus to event planning and design. Much of Amy and Shobin’s inspiration derives from their world travels and their love for modern age cinema.
The AVA brand currently has numerous projects in the works and is making strides to becoming a household name in the industry.

MEET SHELBY
Shelby Thomas-Uddin is the Director of Operations of the AVA-EM branch in Atlanta, GA. She joined the AVA team in 2018 and has been a driving force behind it’s success since then. With over 10 years of wedding planning and coordination experience, she always brings a fresh perspective and creative style to any event she manages. A unique quality she maintains in all her professional relationships is an incredible willingness to go above and beyond for the client. Her bubbly and charismatic personality is infectious and her ability to create a stress free environment for the client is remarkable.
Shelby is also an amazing choreographer and dancer, and has received numerous accolades for her work in the South-Asian dance community. In her spare time she loves decorating her house, watching rom-coms and being a mixologist.
